In addition to our WOCCSE-hosted Professional Learning events, we are also committed to sharing relevant opportunities offered throughout the state. As always, please follow your district’s guidelines regarding registration, release time, and participation in events outside of our SELPA.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Conference
Held annually in Riverside, the ADR Conference welcomes over 1,200 participants each year and is coordinated by the East Valley SELPA on behalf of SELPA Administrators of California.

California Mental Health Advocates for Children and Youth (CMHACY) Conference
Hosted annually in Asilomar, the CMHACY conference focuses on a broad range of supports for student mental health, emphasizing interagency collaboration. Many SELPA leaders across the state volunteer and support the planning of this event each year.

Every Child Counts Symposium (ACSA)
Held annually in Palm Desert, ACSA’s Every Child Counts Symposium draws nearly 2,000 practitioners in special education and student services. The event features presentations from educators, legal partners, and field experts. SELPA leaders have historically played key roles in guiding and supporting this statewide conference.
