Superintendents’ Council

The Superintendents’ Council is composed of the Superintendent from each member district within the West Orange County Consortium for Special Education (WOCCSE).  As the governance body for the SELPA, the Council provides leadership, oversight, and direction for the delivery of special education programs and services across the consortium.

Each Superintendent serves as the representative for their district and is responsible to their local governing board. The Council works collaboratively to ensure equitable access to high-quality special education services for all students, while aligning practices, shared programs, and fiscal resources across member LEAs.

The Superintendents’ Council meets regularly throughout the school year, in accordance with the approved Local Plan. All meetings are noticed and conducted in compliance with the Brown Act and other applicable laws.
